Americans are generally happy about the level of immigration that we receive. But, there are a few Americans (I’m looking at you, John McCain) that believe America’s current immigration system is broken because they feel that they are being treated unfairly. They are also concerned that the current system is driving up costs for businesses as well.
These Americans have a point. The current system (which is what it is) is not fair to the individuals who are affected by it. The immigration system is a complex system that is designed to keep a certain number of people in a certain amount of time. Of course, the reality is that people are treated better in some places than others, which is why people don’t want to live there.
The thing is that the American business immigration coalition (which includes the United Business Group, the Chamber of Commerce, the American Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the National Association of Manufacturers, the National Association for Business Immigration, the American Council of Real Estate Investment Trusts, and the American Council of Private Equity) is complaining that the system is driving up the cost of businesses, which is a concern of course. I think that point of view is a little bit missing the point of this whole problem.
I know I’m going to get a lot of flak for this, but I just want to make sure that I have this right. One issue that is at the root of this whole “foreigner is a problem” thing is the fact that America used to be the center of trade and commerce at the beginning of the 20th century.
So America’s international trade was centered at the US’ ports of entry, which led to a lot of business activity. But when the United States came under the influence of communism, this whole system was fundamentally changed. Now a lot of Americans are either forced to leave the country or are denied entry into the country, or they get denied entry. Because the US is now a country that is heavily dependent on a global economy, the border has become more and more important.
America’s border is now one of the most important borders in the world. Not only is it the largest border in the world, but it’s also the busiest. And that’s not even factoring in how much money we spend on it, the number of people who cross in the border, and the number of people who die trying to get to the US. This is an area in which the United States is a leader compared to the rest of the world.
Our business immigration coalition is called the American Business Immigration Coalition.
The first problem when trying to get a company from another country to come to the US is that if you live in America you are part of the American Business Immigration Coalition. That means if your country has a different immigration policy and you want to come here, you have to find a way to get into the American Business Immigration Coalition and then join. On top of that your best bet is to become a member of a company in the coalition.
As you might imagine, this coalition is huge and quite effective. The coalition is made up of companies that have either made their way through the immigration process or have gotten a letter saying that they have been accepted to work in the US and can apply for a work visa. The coalition has become one of the best ways to get companies from other countries to come to the US, so it’s a lot of work to join but also a lot of fun.
Another good way to join the coalition is to call your company’s board of directors and ask them to appoint you to the coalition’s board. Then you can send out letters to your company about the immigration status of your company and the coalition will help you with some of the paperwork and keep you up to date with what’s going on. The coalition was started by the Chamber of Commerce and is a non-profit organization.
