You may have heard that private jets are fast. This may be true for private jets flying between our major cities, but it’s not true for jet lag for long flights.
I recently had a flight delay that stretched over two hours, and even though the reason for the delay is not known, it’s still frustrating.
Jet lag is one of the most frustrating things in the world, but especially when you’re at the airport. You’re on the clock, and the last thing you really want to do is go to the bathroom. Jet lag is when you’re not tired, hungry, or even in a position where you are fully capable of doing something, but are just too tired to get up and use the bathroom.
The answer is definitely not “instantaneously.” It takes a lot of experience to get that right, and it takes practice. I’ve learned that it’s best to start with good, solid, reliable, and reasonably cheap sleep, and then go from there. I have an internal alarm that keeps me awake every night that I can count on, and I’ve found that it works very well for me.
There are actually a lot of factors involved in how quickly you can go from not being in a position to being fully capable of something to being able to do it successfully within a few seconds. Some people simply can’t get up and use the bathroom. Some people are physically unable to do something. Some people can do this but need to be told. Some people need a lot of practice to get it right. Some people just need to do it more often than not.
While I can’t speak in absolutes on how fast a private jet is, I can say this: its not too slow. You can usually find a good private jet for around 2.4 million dollars or so. And like most of the other factors, it varies by company.
Air travel is pretty quick, but it is not always smooth. If you are a person who has a low tolerance for turbulence, you can find yourself having to stay in an airplane for long periods of time (say up to 2 hours), or even landing in the middle of nowhere. If you have a high tolerance level then you can travel in style, at a smooth speed, at your normal pace, without needing to land or take off.
It’s usually a matter of experience, how experienced you are, and how you handle it, rather than a definite number. That’s why it’s important to read the fine print carefully when buying a ticket for a private jet. These tickets can be very expensive.
We all know that the speed is a huge factor when traveling in an airplane. For example, the same airplane can travel from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C. in about 2 hours, or 2 hours and a half, depending on the time of day and what day it is. In reality, your time is going to vary greatly, depending on how many stops you make on the way, and how long the flight lasts.
Private jets are very expensive, and there is the added factor of baggage. Most people put their baggage in first and leave the rest of their belongings on the plane. The airline will charge even more for that extra baggage. This is a major reason why people are so paranoid when traveling by air. The airlines will make it easy for you to take off with your personal items and leave that extra baggage on the plane.
