I am a big fan of the columbia gateways, and I am thrilled to have found a great one to add to my collection. The new gateway is made out of all hardwood, including cherry, oak, and ash. The front of the gateway has an iron gate that opens and closes and is easily secured to the gate frame with a single screw. On the back side, the gate includes several options for mounting lights, including a small spotlight and a large one.
If you’re a fan of the columbia gateways, you’re in luck. My favorite is the giant flagpole (which I’ve never been shown) which has red lights, orange lights, and pink lights that glow. It’s a lot of fun.
The gateways are a bit unusual in that they have several options for mounting lights. I have yet to see a gateway that doesn’t have a light mount for the front.
I love the idea of a gateway that can mount lights. I have no idea why they didnt do this with the zebra gateways. Maybe the zebra gateways would have been too easy to spot.
