I love her website. It’s filled with helpful tips and ideas that anyone can relate to. From making time for yourself by getting up early to exercising and eating well to building a family, self-awareness is essential for a healthy lifestyle.
For those of us who work from home, it can be difficult to take self-awareness seriously. Even when we manage to work past the point of feeling like we need to work on ourselves, we’re still far less likely to do so when we’re in a professional environment. Even as we manage to work out our issues, we’re far less likely to address them than we would to a co-worker.
I know there are lots of people who say that the best thing for us is to work hard in school and to continue to exercise and eat well to build a family and to continue with our careers. I agree that these activities are good for us, though. But there is a time and place for them in our lives. We need to think about this, especially when we’re in the office and we’re supposed to be doing our job.
As a good rule of thumb, when you are in the office on the day of a deadline, you should try to think about how you are going to handle your family and work and exercise and eat and still manage to be productive.
That said, I don’t necessarily think that exercising as much as we did is necessary. We’re not saying that we don’t exercise, just that we don’t do it during those times. I think our bodies can handle more and I’m not saying that we need to exercise more.
In terms of fitness, I think we did get a bit more active than our normal selves. We were probably too much in the zone. The thing is that we really liked the exercise and we did it for about ten minutes and then went to dinner and ate and we were still pretty active.
We were pretty active during dinner so maybe we did need to do more. I think exercise is important for our bodies and they can handle a little bit more. It may take a little more time to get out of your head for a while.
We did get out of our heads for a bit. But, seriously, we did. During dinner, we were watching TV and we weren’t too active. We were watching the news and reading and it was pretty quiet. I think we were in a bit of a daze. We didn’t want to go to bed.
I think all of us had more energy than we’d bargained for. I think it might have been a little bit too much for one night.
Just remember, while you’re in denial you can turn into a zombie at any time. Just be careful of any sharp objects you might be carrying. When you’re in denial, you can also take your own life.
