I’m a self-identified “Randall” fan. I have a tendency to think a lot about what I do and how I do it, and the more things I think about, the better I feel. I find this to be especially true given my interest in self-improvement.
One of the things I was looking forward to when I first got to college was the opportunity to study something I was interested in. My first semester at university I took a self-defense class and a criminal justice class. Neither really took me places in my life, but I had a lot of fun doing them. I thought about it a lot and thought about it a lot, because it was such a fun class. Eventually I decided I wanted to be a police detective.
I was talking to my friend about this, and for some reason I hadn’t brought up the fact that I wanted to be a police detective before. I thought, “Huh. I don’t know how to do it. I don’t know anything about self-defense. I don’t know anything about criminal justice. I don’t know anything about anything.” So I thought about it. I thought about it for a long time. I thought about it for a really long time.
I think the short answer to you question is “Yes” unless you want to know how to get arrested.

randalls employee is a real person. A former employee. The only thing that is really important about this is that he is the only person on the Island that knows about the island’s history. And the fact that he is the only person on the Island that knows that he is the only one who knows, means that he is the only person on the Island that can save the island’s day. No one else can. We’re not even sure if any of the people we know have saved the world, and even if they did, that wouldn’t matter because it would mean that no one else has. And even if we did know for sure, it wouldn’t make any difference. Because the truth is that in a world like that, no one can save anyone.
